Appointed Global General Counsel

Allied Universal announced that Loretta Cecil will join the organization as global general counsel.

In this role, Cecil will serve as the company’s chief legal officer, providing strategic legal guidance and overseeing the company’s global legal function. She will report directly to Steve Jones, global chairman and CEO at Allied Universal.

Cecil has over 40 years’ experience as an executive and legal professional, most recently as executive vice president and general counsel for Change Healthcare Inc., one of the world’s largest healthcare IT companies. In that role, she led all legal and compliance support for Change Healthcare’s successful initial public offering in 2019. Change Healthcare was acquired in 2022 by UnitedHealth Group.

“Loretta’s experience leading phenomenal legal teams at publicly traded companies and technology focused organizations perfectly lines up with the future I see for Allied Universal,” Jones said. “Her leadership and mentorship will help secure our future, and I’m looking forward to working with her as a trusted advisor.”

In addition to Change Healthcare, Cecil spent more than a decade at McKesson Corp. where she served as senior vice president, governance relations and general counsel for the technology solutions business unit. Prior to that, she was law vice president, chief counsel, and ethics and compliance officer for NCR Corp.; and general attorney for AT&T Corp.

Cecil’s hiring comes after the retirement of David Buckman following nearly 20 years of dedicated service to the company. His expertise, wisdom and commitment to excellence have left an indelible mark on Allied Universal, according to the announcement. He has been instrumental in creating a best-in-class legal team and shaping the legal framework that underpins the company’s operations. Buckman will serve as a resource through the end of the calendar year to help ensure a seamless transition. //

Appointed Chief Human Resources Officer

NSI Industries announced that Troy Hayes has joined the company as chief human resources officer (CHRO). As a member of NSI’s executive leadership team, Hayes will report to NSI CEO G.R. Schrotenboer. The company said Hayes will lead the company’s HR function, with responsibilities that include providing end-to-end HR strategy, execution, and delivery of processes and operations to drive business objectives.

Appointed Business Development Manager for Restaurant & Retail Verticals

Hanwha Vision has named Jason Swanson as business development manager for the restaurant and retail markets. The industry veteran will draw on his extensive store and food service experience to ensure Hanwha solutions address operators’ unique surveillance challenges and requirements for protecting their premises, employees and customers. Swanson’s appointment continues Hanwha’s commitment to building teams that include subject matter experts with first-hand market knowledge, insights and expertise, according to the announcement. Hanwha said he joins the company at a time when situational awareness and operational efficiency have never been more important for retail and restaurant environments.

Appointed Northeast Director of Sales

DMP has appointed Charlie Lunney as the director of sales, Northeast. He will direct and support the regional sales managers in the New England, New York Metro, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic territories. With over 25 years of experience in the security industry, he has served in global business development and sales director roles at companies such as Motorola, Advanced Electronic Solutions and Johnson Controls. Lunney joins DMP as part of a new sales management initiative that restructured territories to elevate the personalized service to dealers.

Paxton Access has welcomed new additions to its training team, to support the growing demand for installer training. Zehn Zzyrone has taken the role of field training engineer, and Casey Cribbin has joined as senior product trainer. Zzyrone and Cribbin will focus on introducing Paxton’s smart access control solutions to customers and assisting them in growing their security business. In Cribbin’s role as senior product trainer, the company said he will further increase training support to installers.

SAGE Integration has appointed Katie Krug as its senior account executive. Krug brings over 18 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development across various industries. During her tenure as the AIoT director at EPIC iO, Krug led the charge of enhancing brand visibility and awareness through innovative marketing strategies, successfully expanding the company’s reach into new verticals. Her role involved generating sales prospects using value-based selling and the MEDDIC methodology and developing strategic marketing initiatives for enterprise clients.

ELATEC Inc. announced that Chris Randall has joined the company as senior business development outreach manager based in Scottsdale, Ariz. In his new role, Randall will spearhead the company’s go-to-market strategy, focusing on developing and implementing business development strategies to achieve growth objectives within the physical and logical access control OEM hardware markets.
