Ken Francis Appointed Actuate CEO
Actuate, a provider of vision-based AI monitoring solutions, has appointed Ken Francis as CEO. With over two decades of experience at the helm of companies like Eagle Eye Networks and AMAG Technology, Actuate said Francis brings a proven track record in building and scaling global security technology businesses. Francis will lead Actuate’s continued global expansion, strengthen its channel partnerships, and advance its position as the fastest-growing monitored video AI provider in the world, according to the announcement.
According to Actuate, Francis’ technical acumen and deep industry insight position him uniquely to expand the company’s network of resellers and technical partnerships, solidifying relationships with channel partners that are eager for the company’s solutions.

KiddeFenwal has appointed Rekha Agrawal to serve as the firm’s CEO. KiddeFenwal said the move further positions the company to achieve significant scale and expand its market share both domestically and overseas. According to the announcement, Agrawal brings to KiddeFenwal a wealth of experience in the fire suppression business and the industrial space at large. She has held leadership roles at Tyco and Johnson Controls, where she led both product and service businesses generating more than $1 billion in revenue, overseeing teams focused on engineering, supply chain, sales and product management, as well as M&A initiatives.

Appointed Vice President, Global Business Development Video Solutions
AMAG Technology has appointed Chris Meiter as the company’s vice president of global business development for video solutions. AMAG said this new role underscores the organization’s continued expansion support to its entire technology suite. Meiter comes from Salient Systems, which is a decade-long video partner of AMAG Technology. According to the announcement, Meiter will establish and implement AMAG Technology’s video selling strategy and ensure support for all video-related initiatives. Meiter will work closely with commercial leaders to develop training programs, empowering the global sales team to demonstrate AMAG Technology’s Symmetry CompleteView Video Management System.

Craig Dever has joined DMP as a national account director. The company said he has an exceptional record in sales and leadership serving global technology companies. CEO to Retire in 2025
Resideo Technologies has announced that its president and CEO, Jay Geldmacher, plans to retire from his executive and board positions in 2025. Geldmacher will remain in his current role until a successor is appointed, after which he will step down from the board and transition to a senior advisor role to ensure a smooth handover. The company said the announcement is part of its active succession planning process. The board has engaged a nationally recognized executive search firm to assist in the process of identifying and evaluating qualified candidates.

Managing Director Retires
Integrated Access Control and Security manufacturer TDSi announces that its managing director, John Davies, will retire from his role at the end of 2024. TDSi’s existing senior team will continue to operate the business as usual under the leadership of Thibaut Galland, chief operating officer for the United Kingdom at TDSi’s parent organization, Vitaprotech. Davies joined TDSi in 2003, leading a management buyout of the business in February 2005. In 2019 he oversaw the next chapter of TDSi’s journey when it joined Vitaprotech, an international group of premium security providers of solutions in access control and management, smart monitoring, and perimeter intrusion detection.

Over the last year and a half, DOOR said its team has built upon the foundation of Latch’s existing access control solutions and entry systems with new products and services that deliver the connected residential living experience people expect in today’s world.
