As police departments adopt new technologies, SIAC helps communicate the benefits of programs like AVS-01, the new Alarm Validation Scoring standard. AVS-01 uses data and analytics to help dispatchers prioritize alarm events based on their likelihood of validity. Combined with The Monitoring Association’s (TMA) Five Diamond Certification, which recognizes monitoring centers that meet the industry’s highest operational and training standards, AVS-01 demonstrates how the industry continues to raise the bar for accuracy, dependability and professionalism.

Another major advance is TMA’s ASAP-to-PSAP program, developed with APCO International.
