Promoted Sales Directors
Napco Security Technologies has promoted two regional sales managers to serve as sales directors: Troy Bonnano for Napco Security & Fire and Rob Etmans for Napco Access Pro divisions. As sales directors, they will help coordinate regional sales managers’ efforts to meet sales and management objectives; drive channel management through independent reps and distribution; support and on-board new and current dealer/integrators; and, conduct new product introductions, presentations, exhibitions and trainings across the country.

Vince DiValerio
Retires From Vector Security
Vector Security marks the retirement of Vince DiValerio, effective April 30, after his nearly five decades of contribution to the company. DiValerio joined Vector Security in 1976, holding various positions in sales, branch management, district management, and for the past 24 years as the vice president of acquisitions. In his acquisition role, DiValerio was responsible for overseeing the company’s acquisition growth strategy, including the most recent acquisition of ADS Security in 2019. Ryan Dreliszak has assumed the role of director, mergers & acquisitions at Vector Security.

Joe Finney
Appointed new Director of Information Technology
Rapid Response Monitoring has appointed Joseph Finney as director of information technology. In his new role, Finney will oversee the daily operations of the IT department, develop preventative maintenance plans for upgrading technology, and monitor performance metrics to reduce cybersecurity risks. With over 25 years of military experience, Finney brings an extensive background in large-scale communications and telecommunication systems for the Air Force. During his military career, Finney led IT teams in a variety of conditions including equipment set-ups in the pouring rain and tents in the middle of an open field.

SIA Names New Board of Directors Chair & Board Members
The Security Industry Association (SIA) named its new board of directors chair — Scott Dunn of Axis Communications — and welcomed four new members to the SIA Board of Directors at The Advance, SIA’s annual membership gathering, held April 9 during ISC West. The new SIA Board of Directors members, who will serve an initial two-year term from 2024 to 2026, are listed here.

Eric Salava
Named new Chief Revenue Officer
Eric Salava has joined Verkada as chief revenue officer. Salava will lead Verkada’s global go-to-market and revenue generation strategy as the company continues to scale rapidly, according to an announcement. Salava brings decades of experience scaling global commercial operations and joins Verkada from Conga, where he served as chief revenue officer, overseeing its global go-to-market strategy and sales organization. Prior to Conga, Salava was executive vice president of North America, Asia Pacific & Japan sales and operations at Informatica, and also led sales and operations functions at Oracle and BEA Systems.
