Which company will be SDM’s 2021 Dealer of the Year? Maybe Yours!

The SDM Dealer of the Year award program is the magazine’s highest honor, bestowed upon one security company each year since 1980. Here’s your chance to enter and compete among the finest businesses in the electronic security industry. The award is open to all companies in the security industry, regardless of size or market niche.

If your firm meets or exceeds the preliminary criteria, then complete the form below and return it to SDM. You may use this application to nominate your own company or another dealer.

To be considered as a Dealer of the Year candidate, your company must:

• Have been in business at least three years as of May 31, 2021.
• Be in the business of selling and installing electronic security and
  related systems to residential and/or non-residential markets.
• Derive more than 50 percent of its revenue from the sale, lease, installation, service, and/or monitoring of these systems.

If your company meets or exceeds these qualifications, complete and return the online nomination form so it arrives in SDM’s office no later than June 25, 2021. After receiving your completed nomination form, SDM will send you a detailed questionnaire asking about your company’s background and operations.

The formal announcement and a feature article profiling the winning Dealer of the Year, will appear in SDM’s December 2021 issue.
