Renova Technology Extends Lifecycle Support for IDIS Americas Products
Renova Technology has been selected by IDIS Americas Inc. to extend the lifecycle of legacy products branded as AV Costar and CostarHD.

Customers will maintain their current channel for RMA support directly through IDIS Americas.

Genetec Updates FICAM Certification & Expands Access Control Options for U.S. Federal Market
Genetec Inc. announced that Security Center 5.12 now complies with FIPS 201 and is approved by the Federal Identity Credential and Access Management (FICAM) conformance program.
According to the announcement, the certification ensures that government entities can trust that Genetec software meets stringent federal security standards to ensure that only authorized individuals are provided access to sensitive data and facilities.

This certification extends the list of supported FICAM access control hardware within Security Center Synergis. The Genetec access control platform is now certified to offer an end-to-end FICAM-compliant solution with HID pivCLASS readers, HID Signo readers, Veridt readers, as well as ASSA ABLOY integrated locks and server cabinet locks.
FIPS 201-certified products undergo rigorous testing, resulting in fewer vulnerabilities and robust security features, ensuring that federal organizations’ sensitive data is protected.

NMC Unveils Mobile Support for Nexus Platform
National Monitoring Center unveiled NexusTech, the newest addition to its Nexus business intelligence platform.
With its smart search technology, technicians can search and map site locations, ensuring they can quickly find and navigate to their destinations. The advanced location services provide detailed directions and identify the nearest site locations. Additionally, NexusTech’s testing capabilities include color-coded test indicators, multiple site testing, and options for text or email confirmations to make the testing process more streamlined and reliable.

A detailed account landing page has been revamped to include new tabs for site details, system details, and permits, providing a comprehensive overview at a glance. Direct call options enable users to quickly dial specific contacts directly from the app. Advanced test management features now allow technicians to view, extend, or clear existing or future-dated test status, apply specific service types, and place primary or secondary systems “on test” only.

Connect ONE & CANSEC Release New Integration With MAP Access Controllers for Cloud Control
Connect ONE from Connected Technologies LLC, in partnership with Cansec Systems Ltd., Mississauga, Can., has added a direct cloud integration with MAP access controllers.

Cansec’s Modular Access Panels (MAP), are self-contained access controller boards that handle from one to eight doors and as many as 100,000 users. Multiple controllers can also be installed to handle access systems of any size.
